Kevin qualified from University of Dublin (Trinity College) with a B.A. (Mod.) Legal Science and L.L.B. and was admitted as a Solicitor in Michaelmas 1979.

For over 30 years Kevin worked in a medium-sized commercial practice and was their Managing Partner from 1990 to 2005.

Kevin acted as a Company and Commercial Lawyer and was involved in many merger and acquisition transactions. He has advised Clients in various different industries including the motor industry, the aircraft industry, the fertiliser industry and various other sectors.

Kevin has also advised Clients in relation to various tribunal matters and has appeared before the Beef Tribunal and the Moriarty Tribunal. He has also advised Clients in the insurance industry concerning various commercial and regulatory matters.

Kevin also has a substantial private client practice advising individuals in relation to their personal and financial affairs.

Kevin is on the Board of Directors of many companies in various different industrysectors as well as advising Boards of Directors on their legal duties and responsibilities.

Kevin is involved in a number of Charities and has been a Governor and Guardian of Archbishop Marsh’s Library and Chairman of Focus Theatre Limited.
